We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Management Specialist to oversee the onboarding, follow-up, and ongoing management of vendors. This role is critical to ensuring vendors are processed efficiently and in alignment with company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a solid understanding of procurement processes, and experience working with medium to large-sized organizations. This is a hybrid position at our Westborough, MA office with 4 days/week onsite.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end vendor onboarding process.
  • Ensure timely processing and documentation of vendor information.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records using internal systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and compliance teams to ensure vendor alignment with company policies.
  • Monitor vendor performance and elevate issues as needed.
  • Support audits and reporting related to vendor activities.
Key Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesRequired
  • 2+ years of experience in vendor management or procurement within medium to large organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and vendor onboarding workflows.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Experience with ERP or procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of vendor compliance and risk assessment practices
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports
