Job description

Window Works Co.

In-Home Sales Consultant

Location: Cary, NC (serving Raleigh, Durham, Apex, Chapel Hill, and surrounding Triangle communities)

You Close. We Handle the Rest.

In-Home Sales Consultant | Windows and Doors | Raleigh-Durham Triangle

Our sales consultants typically earn $150,000 to $300,000 a year, based on their own results. You are good at selling. Your paycheck should show it.

Most Sales Jobs Waste Your Talent

Cold lists. Capped commission. Cheap product you have to apologize for. A "team" that vanishes the second the contract is signed.

You did not get into this to knock on doors and babysit installs. You got into it to close.

Window Works Was Built for Closers

Family-owned. Triangle-based. Premium product homeowners actually want. Since 2007 we have earned a reputation for craftsmanship and a no-pressure experience, which means warm, qualified appointments instead of cold chases.

We give you the leads, the tools, and the product. You sell. We handle the rest.

What You Do

Meet homeowners in their homes and show them the right windows and doors using top-tier visualization software that lets them see the finished result before they buy. Quote on the spot. Some deals close that day. Most do not. Big home investments take time, so you will follow up, answer questions, invite people to the showroom, and stay with the customer until they are ready to sign. Keep your pipeline clean in the CRM, then hand signed deals to our project management team and move on to the next one.

The closers who win here are the ones who follow through, not just the ones who talk fast on the first visit.

What You Get

Full-time, W-2, with commission that climbs the more you sell and pays even better on deals you source yourself. You get top-tier visualization software to present in the home, plus the rest of your toolkit (iPad, Vendo, CompanyCam, CRM).

Every appointment sits inside a 30-mile radius, so you are selling close to home, not driving all over the state. Appointments run between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. We never put you on the schedule for a weekend, and if you want to set your own Saturday appointment, that is your call.

Add medical and dental, 401(k) match, mileage reimbursement, and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.

Two Roads

  • Stay put and let good instincts rot on bad leads with a capped ceiling. Or bring your skills somewhere the leads are real, the product sells itself, and your income is up to you.

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-time position, W-2 Employment
  • Base salary of $20,000 per year plus uncapped commission.
  • On-target earnings of $230,000+ may be achievable for high-performing sales consultants based on individual sales results and commission earnings. Earnings are not guaranteed.
  • Company-provided leads: 8% commission on volume up to $2M; 10% commission above $2M.
  • Self-sourced leads: 10% commission on volume up to $2M; 13% commission above $2M.
  • Commission is paid according to company commission policies and completed sales transactions.
  • Medical and dental insurance are available.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • 11 paid company holidays, 10 days of paid vacation, and 5 sick days.
  • Mileage reimbursement, with the opportunity to earn a company vehicle as performance grows.
  • Company-provided technology, including iPad/laptop and sales tools.
  • Access to Ingage, Vendo, CompanyCam, CRM tools, showroom resources, and company-produced content.
  • Structured onboarding and sales training.
  • Company-vetted leads provided.
  • No mandatory weekend appointments.
