Job description

About the Role

At TD SYNNEX, we're building the future of technology distribution-and our people are at the center of that mission. As a Vendor Business Manager - Networking, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success and strategic growth of our Networking vendor portfolio.

This role blends financial acumen, market insight, and relationship management. You will own the end-to-end performance of your vendor line, including profit and loss (P&L), forecasting, inventory optimization, and vendor partnerships. By analyzing market trends and collaborating across internal teams, you'll help shape strategies that accelerate revenue, improve profitability, and strengthen our competitive position.

If you're energized by data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and making a visible impact in a global organization, this role offers a strong platform for growth.

What You'll Do

Vendor & Financial Leadership

  • Own and actively manage the P&L for assigned Networking vendor lines, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve margin, reduce costs, and drive sustainable growth.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor partners, building trusted relationships across sales, operations, and executive levels.

  • Develop and present incremental funding proposals while meeting or exceeding monthly revenue, gross margin percentage, and gross margin dollar targets.

Forecasting, Inventory & Operations

  • Create accurate, data-driven forecasts for vendor products and services to support business planning and execution.

  • Analyze inventory levels and partner closely with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.

  • Act as the primary operational escalation point for your vendor lines, proactively identifying and resolving issues, risks, or bottlenecks.

Market Insight & Strategic Influence

  • Conduct market research and analyze internal and external data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and competitive dynamics within the Networking landscape.

  • Develop clear, compelling reports and presentations that translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams to support customer acquisition, enable revenue growth, and align go-to-market strategies.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of promotions, product launches, and operational initiatives.

  • Deliver formal presentations to vendor partners and internal leadership on product performance, profitability, and promotional results.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Education

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, vendor partner management, sales, or marketing-preferably within technology, Networking, or a related industry.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business actions.

  • Proven experience managing relationships with external partners and engaging effectively with senior-level stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver polished, data-driven presentations.

  • Strong negotiation, influence, and persuasive selling skills.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency with business systems, reporting tools, and standard office applications; adaptable to new technology and systems.

Ways of Working

  • Collaborative, inclusive mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and perspectives.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work shifts as business needs require.

  • This role operates in a professional, hybrid office environment.

At TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing. These principles shape how we work with each other, our partners, and our communities as we drive innovation and create lasting impact.
