Job description

Overview/Function: drinkLAB (DL), a subsidiary company of Atlantic Bottling Company, is a full-line operator company (FLO) providing end-to-end vending and micro market solutions, distributing soda and snacks including fresh and frozen food to customers. The Replenishment Associate kits vending products and loads for next day delivery. Based on business demand, they may also make deliveries and replenish vending machines and stations.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Utilize company-provided handheld/iPad and cart to accurately pick orders and prepare for next-day delivery.
  • Stage and load delivery trucks; Unload and prepare trucks for next-day delivery.
  • Ride-along with delivery team and help with route delivery when time permits.
  • Act as corporate liaison for the sales team, ensuring professional contact with customers, while always maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
  • Follow proper product rotation procedures (i.e. shelving, coolers, displays and back-stock).
  • Communicate timely to the DL leadership with any account issues and potential new vending opportunities.
  • Move product throughout the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner, both manually and utilizing material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
  • Count and inspect product; Help to resolve order discrepancies. Minimize damaged product.
  • Comply with all safety procedures.
  • Regularly perform cleaning and organizing duties around DL area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
  • Class A or Class B CDL is desired. (We can help candidate obtain.)
  • Previous experience utilizing moving equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, dolleys, etc.) is needed.
  • Ability to read, count, and follow directions.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Ability to make frequent visits to customer locations as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required. Must meet company driving requirements for insurability.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and effectively solve on-site problems, while under potentially stressful situations.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
  • Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.
  • Some light computer experience is helpful.

Additional:
  • To accomplish the job tasks, the position will work in a warehouse environment in which the temperature is unregulated and dependent upon outdoor weather conditions, and also provide support at varying customer sites.
  • This position is very active and requires regular standing, walking, twisting, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing stairs. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items over 55 lbs. Some manual finger, hand, and arm dexterity, and to potentially work around cramped and tight spaces will be needed.
  • The role is considered a safety sensitive position.
  • Work hours are weekdays, 6am-2:30pm. Must have flexibility as the needs of the business arise.
  • This position will require the incumbent to ride and assist day-trip deliveries to fill snack and soda vending machines.
  • Once trained, this position may be needed to independently deliver full or partial routes as business needs require.
