Job description

APEX Restaurant and Market Solutions is looking for our next GREAT EMPLOYEE! We are looking for someone to drive to various accounts to stock our vending machines and micro markets. ALSO, NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY DAYTIME SCHEDULE.

The Route Merchandiser will receive comprehensive training in vending machine technology, micro market merchandising, and food safety training. Once the training program is complete, the Route Merchandiser will be responsible for providing the company services to many large employers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use handheld computer technology to facilitate real time data transfers from vending machines and micro markets to the companies cloud based software.
  • Complete the assigned route duties for the day- Service vending machines, merchandise micro markets, and resupply refreshment products to the customer base.
  • Communicate with the customers on the route in a courteous and appreciative manner.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly truck on a daily basis.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels at all vending and micro market locations.
  • Ensure that all safe food handling procedures are followed at all times.
  • Treat all company assets and customers with the highest level of respect.
  • Show willingness to grow with the company. WE PROMOTE FROM WITHIN.
  • Consistently arrive at work at the prescribed times and days ready to perform the above duties.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrate the ability to do simple math calculations.
  • Must have a clean appearance and a hard work ethic.
  • Valid drives license in Kansas or a valid Missouri class E drivers license.
  • Must have the ability to handle product totes that weight 25-40 pounds.
  • Demonstrate the ability to comfortably bend, twist, and squat as well as lift products in and out of a truck on a daily basis.
  • Must pass a DOT examination, criminal background, and drug test.
  • Demonstrate the ability and aptitude to move up into other positions within the company.
