Position
We are currently seeking an Associate Financial Manager in the Employee Benefits Data Analytics Group in our Chicago office. The Associate Financial Manager is responsible for assisting the Financial Management Group in the day-to-day service of our clients.
In this role, you will:
  • Assist with maintaining the HUB financial database for regular tracking of client plan costs
  • Responsible for the development of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
  • Create summaries that benchmark existing benefit plan provisions and costs to marketplace standards and recommend changes for benefit competitiveness
  • Assist with the evaluation and negotiation of fully-insured and self-funded renewals for selected book of business Help with initial creation of client medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and life and disability budgets
  • Respond timely to emails, messages, and other requests
  • Conduct vendor calls to escalate and resolve client reporting issues
  • Attend and actively participate in internal meetings for the
  • Financial Management Group Support the process for evaluating proposals in the vendor procurement process
  • Stay abreast of current health and welfare benefit strategies by researching marketplace tendencies and initiating/participating in vendor discussions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Internship experience is preferred but not required
  • Financial and analytical skills are required
  • Interest in health care and consulting

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
