Job description

Black Velvet Coffee is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Barista to join our team in Mammoth Lakes!

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a great experience for every customer. Coffee experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person who is excited to learn.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other menu items with consistency and care
  • Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service
  • Take orders and process transactions using our POS system
  • Learn our coffee offerings, menu, and retail products
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
  • Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning responsibilities
  • Restock products and supplies throughout your shift
  • Follow food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
  • Work efficiently with the rest of the team during busy periods
  • Help create the welcoming, laid-back atmosphere Black Velvet is known for
What We're Looking For
  • Reliable and punctual
