Overview
Join the Velocity Bar + Kitchen team as a Restaurant Manager, where you'll lead exceptional service and help create memorable dining experiences for every guest. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, manage and develop staff, and ensure the highest standards of hospitality are consistently delivered. Your passion for leadership and guest satisfaction will play a key role in bringing our vision to life!
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring the highest level of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and lead the front-of-house team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to uphold culinary standards and seamless service.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.

Qualifications
  • Experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • A great attitude and work ethic
  • High energy and stamina. Able to work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environment

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours).
  • Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, highchairs, booster seats).
  • Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
  • Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
