Registered Nurse (RN) - Vein Clinic

Job Type: Full Time | Days

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Grad RNs, up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for experienced RNs with a 2-year commitment for eligible candidates.


Schedule: 8hr shifts, Monday-Friday. No weekends or major holidays.

Here at Haywood Vein Center, our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive vein care in a comfortable and compassionate environment.  We utilize advanced, minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat a wide range of vein conditions, from cosmetic concerns like spider veins to more serious issues like varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. The center is committed to helping patients achieve healthier, more vibrant lives free from the pain, swelling, and discomfort of vein disease.  We work Monday - Friday, 32 - 40 hours per week.


How you'll contribute 
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

-    Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
-    Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
-    Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
-    Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
-    Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
-    Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for 

-    Licenses: Active North Carolina or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
-    Associate's degree required, BSN preferred. 
-    American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
-    AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. 
-    One year of experience preferred
-    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
