Claims Agent

Reporting to the Director of Compliance, you are the claims expert: from the very first phone call to the closure of the file, nothing escapes your attention! This is a strategic role where attention to detail and strong organizational skills make all the difference.

Your mission? Conduct investigations, gather key documentation, and provide a complete file to the responsible manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process claims on a daily basis;
  • Monitor emails, attach documents to orders, and respond to customers and drivers;
  • Open claims files, document them, follow up, and ensure their resolution;
  • Process and analyze manufacturer claims;
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and events;
  • Produce various reports (weekly, monthly, and annual);
  • Participate in various projects as needed.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written);
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.);
  • Customer service experience;
  • Experience in the vehicle transportation industry (an asset);
  • Experience using Magnus TMS (an asset);
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment.
 
Employment Conditions:
  • Salary: to be discussed based on relevant experience;
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical and dental insurance), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), RRSP, 10 paid sick days per year, and 3 personal days;
  • Full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;
