Simulation Integration Engineer
Location: Warren, MI (Onsite)
 

Job Overview
We are hiring a Simulation Integration Engineer to support advanced vehicle development and validation programs. This role focuses on integrating plant models with ECU/controller software to enable virtual vehicle simulation and system-level verification.

Key Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to define and deploy simulation projects
Integrate plant models with ECU/controller software for system validation
Develop and test virtual controller and ECU behavioral models
Perform simulation correlation using real-world data
Maintain and improve simulation architectures and frameworks
Execute automated test cases and validation activities
Troubleshoot simulation issues and support deployed models
Work in Agile/SAFe environment with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications
MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering
5+ years of relevant experience in simulation and modeling

Must-Have Skills
Plant Modeling: GT Suite, GT Power, AMESim, CarSim with co-simulation experience
Simulation Tools: MATLAB, Simulink, dSPACE/VEOS, ETAS COSYM, ECU modeling
Embedded Systems: Experience with embedded software and AUTOSAR architecture
