Looking for a full-time position that keeps you moving? Road & Rail Services is adding Vehicle Shuttle Drivers to our Georgetown team.
You will help keep automotive operations running smoothly by transporting newly manufactured vehicles from the production facility to assigned parking and staging areas. This is not a delivery, rideshare, or valet position. All driving takes place within the customer's vehicle-processing operation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being around new vehicles, and staying active throughout the day. Team members typically walk three to five miles per shift and frequently enter and exit vehicles.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Drive new vehicles safely between production, staging, and storage areas.
  • Follow designated travel routes and facility traffic procedures.
  • Park vehicles precisely in assigned spaces.
  • Verify vehicle information and document parking locations.
  • Observe vehicles for visible damage or concerns and report findings.
  • Coordinate with team members to maintain an organized flow of vehicles.
  • Frequently enter and exit vehicles throughout the workday.
  • Perform duties outdoors in changing seasonal weather.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and surrounding activity.
  • Follow all Road & Rail Services, customer, and facility safety policies.
  • Assist with other vehicle-processing responsibilities as assigned.
What Will Help You Succeed
A current, valid state-issued driver's license.
Ability to operate and park vehicles safely.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Strong attention to detail and surroundings.
Ability to follow specific driving and parking instructions.
Willingness to walk approximately three to five miles per shift.
Ability to work outside in heat, cold, rain, snow, and sunlight.
Comfort repeatedly entering and exiting vehicles.
A safety-focused and team-oriented approach.
Ability to perform the essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Benefits for Eligible Employees
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid time off after one year
  • Annual work shoe or boot allowance
  • Company-provided personal protective equipment
  • Full-time employment
  • Training and advancement opportunities
