Job description

Guaranty Chevrolet, celebrating over 50 years of trusted service in the heart of the Willamette Valley, is seeking a Lot Porter, to join our team. As our Lot Attendant, you will be the maestro of our vehicle display, ensuring each car is placed and presented to catch the eye and interest of our valued customers. You'll also be our go-to for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our dealership lot, contributing significantly to the welcoming environment we pride ourselves on. If you're someone who enjoys working in a vibrant, fast-paced setting and appreciates the beauty of a well-organized car display, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain vehicle inventory: Keep the dealership lot neat and orderly, moving vehicles as directed by the sales manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Vehicle relocation: Relocate all wholesale and retail traded vehicles to designated areas on the lot.
  • Clean and park sold vehicles: Ensure that sold vehicles are cleaned and parked in line with our dealership's standards.
  • Inter-dealership driving: Drive vehicles to other locations as needed.
  • Maintain lot cleanliness: This includes sweeping, trash clean-up, and other related tasks.
  • Assist the Detail Department: Help with prepping and cleaning vehicles as required.
  • Perform additional responsibilities: Carry out other tasks as assigned by the sales manager or dealership management.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs.
