Collector | Administrative Assistant


Norris Auto Group, the fastest growing dealership group in Maryland and the only car dealer to be named in the Inc. 500/5000, is currently seeking a motivated Collector / Administrative Assistant.  We are looking for true performer; one who has a track record of surpassing customer expectations and reaching for new goals. 

Collector: The Collector/ Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for collecting payments for vehicles sold at our pre-owned location. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Collect recurring payments from customers electronically (or via cash or check)
  • Prepare and send out late notices
  • Contact customers who are late on payment
  • Keep accurate electronic records regarding collection efforts
  • Handle all incoming calls and transfer non-payment related calls to appropriate department
  • When necessary, contact repossession company for repo of vehicles
  • Process all repossession documents in accordance with state/federal law
  • Other duties as assigned

Most importantly the collector will need to handle cash and checks in a secure and knowledgeable manner.
