Title: Mechanic- Vehicle Dynamicsย 

Location:ย New Carlisle, IN

Job Type: Full Time

Onsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer locationย 


Responsibilities

  • Welding fabrication with Tig, Mig, Stick, Oxy-Acetylene.
  • Welding skills & plasma cutting
  • Repair and/or replace all components of diesel engines, hydraulic, air conditioning, electrical, and suspension systems, drivetrains, steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical information from schematics, technical manuals, drawings and procedures, and governmental regulations.
    Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting engineering activities and/or automotive.


Desired Skills

  • Previous mechanic experiences involving truck and engine assembly, repair, and fabrication. Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Vehicle experience that includes some of the following: commercial vehicles, off-highway vehicles, agriculture vehicles, and/or passenger vehicles
  • Experience with alternative fuels, including EV (electric vehicles), and/or Propane
  • Experience with Cummins/Allison/Eaton/Duramax
  • Training/Education as a Truck mechanic, as a Diesel Engine mechanic
  • Experience with welding fabrication with Tig, Mig, Stick, Oxy
  • Acetylene Welding skills & plasma cutting
  • Knowledge of multimeter and/or module programming
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office โ€“ Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.ย 

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Associateโ€™s degree in automotive technology + 3 Years of Diesel Experience
    OR 3 years of Diesel Mechanic experience
  • Experience working on heavy trucks or equipment
  • I preferred CDL driving license.
