Responsibilities:
  • Lead physical integration of components into the vehicle
  • The scope of the role will include projects at any stage of a program lifecycle (series production, prototype, etc.) as well as non-program specific development
  • Generate concerns in issue management software (JIRA) and track them through to completion
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, calibrations, and on-going system troubleshooting; this is a "hands-on" job
  • Document all vehicle tasks and issues
  • Work with Mechanical, Mechatronics and Software Engineers to help bring up new platforms
  • Create install instructions for new builds
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the engineers, technicians, product teams, and operators to ensure that vehicles are well maintained.

Required Skills:
  • BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years practical experience in automotive field
  • Diagnostic troubleshooting/experience with vehicle or robotics systems including electrical and mechanical sensors, cameras, computers, and other associated equipment
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, with a passion for continuous learning
  • Experience working with EVs and/or autonomous vehicles a plus
