Responsibilities
  • Completes the quality checks and execution of day-to-day VDC project deliverables and processes
  • Communicates with internal and external project teams; facilitates meetings to resolve project issues, review schedules, or other project documentation
  • Assigns responsible party(s) for issue resolution; verifies and documents with meeting minutes, submittals, RFIs, and updated models
  • Utilizes 3D design software to identify, communicate, and resolve project challenges
  • Utilizes Reality Capture technology, such as laser scanning and drones, to support project deliverables
  • Combines all building discipline models into coordination model
  • Reviews the coordination model for constructability issues utilizing the software's clash detection capabilities
  • Participates in Business Unit (BU) office and department activities including the orientation program, training sessions, and peer group meetings 
  • Supports 1-3 VDC deliverables under supervision
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM) or related field
  • 0-3 years of VDC Coordination experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong time-management and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with BIM design software (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, In-design)
  • Basic understanding of construction documentation
  • Knowledge of construction systems
  • Receptive and inquisitive about design concepts and integrated building components and systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Knowledge of Baseline and Enterprise VDC standards

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

For Upstate NY, this ranges from $93,000.00-$115,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
