  • Update and modify BIM models based on design changes, RFIs, and coordination feedback.
  • Ensure models are accurate, clean, and prepared for exports or deliverables (e.g., prefabrication sheets, shop drawings).
  Standards & Technical Execution
  • Apply company BIM standards, templates, and naming conventions to all modeling work.
  • Follow project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and coordination protocols as defined by the VDC BIM Coordinator and VDC/BIM Manager.
  • Perform quality checks on model elements to ensure compliance with standards and readiness for coordination or export.
  Coordination & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with VDC/BIM Coordinators and VDC/BIM Detailers to support model integration, clash resolution, and construction alignment.
  • Identify potential clashes or constructability concerns and escalate to the BIM Coordinator for resolution.
  • Flag discrepancies between backgrounds and design intent and notify the BIM Coordinator for resolution.
  Prefabrication & Construction Support
  • Assist in generating installation drawings, prefabrication sheets, and model exports to support construction and fabrication workflows.
  • Support creation of dimensioned views and model exports for detailing to help bridge between modeling and field-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing team to confirm modeled elements meet prefab requirements.
  Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot modeling issues and support team members with BIM software tools, standards, and best practices.
