Role Overview

Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures (LMSV), the corporate venture capital arm of Liberty Mutual Insurance, is hiring a VC Analyst in Boston. LMSV manages a $150M venture fund targeting early-stage investments transforming the insurance sector (Future of Shelter, (Re)Insurance, Mobility, Small Business, Risk, Cyber, and Climate Change).

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, track, and monitor start-ups of interest and assist with screening
  • Conduct market research and prepare investment recommendation materials
  • Engage in due diligence activities
  • Represent the fund at industry events and collaborate across Liberty business units
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and prepare reports for leadership and investment committees
Qualifications
  • Strong market research and analytical skills
  • Comfort with 25% travel and 2-3 days/week office presence at the Back Bay location
