Overview
As an Account Executive with Vayan Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share by selling Vayan’s full suite of quality assurance and support services. This role requires a strong hunter mentality, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a high level of ownership.
The Account Executive is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and positioning Vayan as a preferred partner across automotive, EV, aerospace, electronics, and manufacturing environments. This role is fast-paced, performance-driven, and central to Vayan’s continued growth in a rapidly evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive revenue through the sale of Vayan’s quality assurance services, including third-party inspection, assembly and rework, technical engineering support, vehicle repair, and warehouse services
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive hunting, cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building
- Develop and execute annual growth strategies while maintaining a strong and accurate sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic sales plans
- Allocate a minimum of 80% of time to direct selling and customer engagement
Commercial & Contract Management
- Own customer relationships with assigned key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact
- Negotiate and execute customer agreements, including NDAs and Master Service Agreements
- Prepare accurate, customized proposals aligned with customer scope, statements of work, and requirements
- Strategically grow market share while meeting margin and profitability targets
- Identify customer pain points and effectively communicate Vayan’s value proposition
- Navigate complex deal structures and coordinate internal resources as needed
Customer Relationship Management
- Position Vayan as the “first call” preferred partner for quality assurance, vehicle repair, and warehouse services
- Convert first-time customers into long-term, repeat clients
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and decision-makers
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally and communicate customer needs across teams
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscape
Performance, Reporting & CRM
- Meet or exceed defined KPIs, including a minimum of 10 customer meetings per week
- Accurately forecast revenue and maintain visibility into deal status and pipeline health
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records, including opportunities, activities, contacts, and new locations
- Coordinate and manage multiple proposals concurrently
- Ensure timely and complete collection of receivables
Additional Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, high-quality sales presentations and proposals
- Participate in trade shows and industry events as required
- Model Vayan’s values and comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling complex or service-based solutions
- 2-5 years Experience or familiarity with automotive, manufacturing, or quality assurance environments
- Frequent Travel is required to (CA, TX, NV)
- Strong customer-facing communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and performance objectives
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard business software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Budget and Compensation:
- Expected Salary Range:
- Base: 100-115k
- Commission potential: 130-170k
- OTE: 230k-300k
