Responsibilities

  • Processes all departments' deposits. Balances deposits and sends to the bank. Runs a tape of all travelers checks, personal checks, and comp checks and separates.
  • Processes Slot, Cage, Security, and Dealer tokes deposits. Makes deposits, including checks from Accounting department, for the company.
  • Verifies Count Team drop from the BV drop, Table Games Drop, and Redemption Kiosk Drop.
  • Verifies currency and coin received from bank.
  • Does Cage buys. Replenishes cash needed to supply Slot department wallets and Cage Cashiers.
  • Verifies all money coming back into the vault. Makes sure the count is correct.
  • Records all transactions on Vault Accountability Sheet.
  • Fills Kiosk Cassettes and US Coin Bags for the Redemption Kiosks.
  • Performs Cashier and Main Bank duties when needed.
  • Communicates effectively with customers in a pleasant, professional manner.
  • Accurately counts money and exchanges coins or gaming chips for customers.
  • Complies with company policies, all state and federal regulations, and internal controls as it relates to this position.
  • Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company's judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest service.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of prior work experience.
  • Ability to handle large sums of money.
  • Ability to maintain accountability over a cashier drawer.
  • Ability to perform all duties in a confidential manner.
  • Previous money handling experience is preferred.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator. - Some computer knowledge is helpful.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time. Stand for an eight or ten hour shift.
  • Knowledge of casino functions. - Ability to work with high levels of noise and crowds.
  • Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
