Job description

Description

 This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care while working in a vibrant medical practice environment.

In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing vascular surgery, assisting with evaluations, patient management, and follow-up care. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to enhance patient health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments and evaluations for vascular surgery
  • Assist in the development and management of treatment plans
  • Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care
  • Collaborate with surgical teams during procedures
  • Educate patients and families about vascular health
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant healthcare field
  • Current NP or PA license in the state of Georgia
  • Experience in vascular surgery or related fields is preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Basic proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 10 hour day shifts, 4 days per week

Daily Volume: 7-10 cases

Procedures Required: Endoscopic vein harvesting

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

ACLS & CALS required

Paid travel & expenses
