• Experience with IBM AIX OS is a plus
• Ability to Recommend, design, develop, and implement software and hardware solutions
• Provide Operating System technical and break/fix level support
• shell scripting and automation skills
• Proficient in performing OS administration tasks on RHEL6, RHEL7 running on ESX virtualized servers
• In depth Linux knowledge required, including LVM and SAN multipathing
• Expertise in RedHat Linux Clustering Solutions
• Proficient in performing OS administration tasks on SLES 11+ running on bare metal HP ProLiant DL580 Gen8 servers.
• Proficient in troubleshooting any RHEL6, RHEL7 and SLES 11+ software and hardware issues.
• Experience in supporting and administration of SLES11+ running HANA DB is a huge plus
• Experience installing, configuring and Supporting Puppet
• Experienced with multipath, VAS/AD, yum, BladeLogic and ProLiant DL series, HP3PAR and HP Smart storage arrays admin CLIs
• Any experience on AIX virtualization, Install upgrade and configure VIO servers and clients, AIX PowerHA clustering is a plus
• Knowledge of SAN based disk solutions and their configurations
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot network, performance and software issues
• Familiarity with tools like BladeLogic, DNT, ESM, vsphere client is a huge plus
