Our project teams and resources are high level professionals that perform consulting services and development throughout our technology practices.
Our client is searching for a seasoned SAP PLM Consultant for a 6 Month contract primarily remote with occasional onsite visits.
Job Description:
The SAP PLM consultant must assess why user experience is poor in the areas of speed of the system architecture, high content Engineering Records, workflow of Engineering Records, management of deliverables within SAP PLM project management tool, and ineffective search tools. The PLM consultant must determine why adoption rate is low and decrease workload on engineering through utilization of the PLM tools.
The SAP PLM must identify quick wins through medium term solutions and longer term roadmap to either replace SAP PLM or provide add-on applications to help with user interface and project management tools.
Responsibilities
This individual will work with Product engineers, IT team, and key stakeholders.
Key duties will include:
• Analyze and determine low hanging fruit for immediate wins that would help get product orders from order to release.
• Review tools, configuration, and integration opportunities with SAP PLM.
• Consult client on technological and or systems and process improvements.
• Outline and suggest 30/60/90 day plan as well as road map 6 month,12 months, and beyond.
Experience and Skills:
• Leadership is a must
• Excellent communication,
• Prior success implementing PLM processes globally.
• Have worked with upper management, C level, and engineers.
Expertise:
• Product and manufacturing process expertise.
• 10 years industry expertise in high tech products and engineering.
• Manufacturing, Semiconductor, or other related.
• SAP PLM product suite.
• Variant Configurator.
• PPM is a plus.
