About This Role

A commercial retrofit installer job involves upgrading, replacing, or modifying existing commercial building systems to improve energy efficiency, performance, and compliance with codes.

What you'll do

  • Remove & install commercial systems and equipment, such as furnaces, air conditioners, chillers, and package units.
  • Install new equipment including Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, and advanced control systems.
  • Perform low-voltage control wiring and rough-in work.
  • A small amount of sheet metal fabrication & installation
  • Ensure that your work complies with federal, state, & local regulations.
  • Interact with customers as needed, answer questions, & provide clear information about the process.
  • Collaborate with other team members to finish projects and meet customer needs.

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC.
  • Ability to read & interpret drawings, blueprints, & manufacturer specs.
