At District Photo, our employees are the heart of our company. We are seeking a Digital Printing Process Machinery Operator Day Shift in our Phoenix factory


Job Overview

  The Machine Operator will run and maintain machines that bind printed pages to produce quality products.


Job Duties and Expectations: 

  • Operates machinery to cut, fold, glue, trim, bind, and finish the final printed product.
  • Reads work orders and sets the machine in accordance with job specifications.
  • Review job requirements to understand scope and parameters of project.
  • Completes trial run and evaluates the quality and appearance of the product.
  • Adjusts machinery as needed prior to starting the project.
  • Inspects and ensures that the machines are in proper working order.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies needed to operate machine.
  • Prepares, aligns, and configures machinery, ink, rollers, paper, etc.
  • Performs routine maintenance on machines.
  • Informs supervisor of problems with equipment or materials.
  • Maintain a clean area around machinery.
  • Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various machinery and related software.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Adheres to and enforces safety regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
