As a Sr Engineering Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in supporting engineering projects by applying advanced technical expertise and providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and success of engineering projects by delivering high-quality technical support and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices. You will work out of our Torrance, CA location on an Onsite work schedule.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • High volume repetitive testing of Commercial and Military precision equipment, utilizing Hydraulic/Pneumatic high-pressure testing of high speed rotating equipment and vapor cycle systems. Able to lift to 35lbs.
  • Previous testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred. Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
  • Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and establish a standard production rate in performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related field.

  • Experience testing vapor cycle compressors, vapor cycle systems, heat exchangers and turbo machinery in a lab environment.

The annual base salary range for this position is $66000 - $83000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
