Job description

Position Hours: 4-Day School Week, AM & PM Routes
Location: Vacancies at all 5 schools
Wage: $20.00/hr
Benefits: Contingent upon the number of hours worked per week. For detailed information about benefits, please refer to the applicable contract available on our district website.
Position Description: 
St. Louis County Schools, ISD 2142 is currently seeking applications for our substitute van driver position. This position is available at all of our school locations and will perform the following job functions: 
  • Transports students according to assigned routes and time schedule. 
  • Performs a complete pre-trip inspection and monitors vehicle performance and mechanical conditions. 
  • Maintains the cleanliness of vehcile interior and exterior.
  • Maintains effective student management during the operation of the vehicle. 
Qualifications: 
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, DOT physical, drug test, and alcohol screen. 
  • Active Minnesota Driver's License.
