Job description

Position: Van Driver (2 Positions Available)
Position Hours: 4-Day School Week, AM & PM Routes
Location: North Woods School Cook, MN
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Benefits: Benefits are contingent upon the number of hours worked per week. Please refer to the applicable collective bargaining agreement available on the district website for detailed benefit information.




Position Description
St. Louis County Schools, ISD 2142, is accepting applications for Van Drivers to provide student transportation at our North Woods School.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Transport students safely according to assigned routes and schedules.
Perform a complete pre-trip vehicle inspection and monitor vehicle performance and mechanical condition.
Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle's interior and exterior.
Maintain appropriate student supervision and behavior while operating the vehicle.
Follow all district policies, Minnesota traffic laws, and safety regulations related to student transportation.
Report accidents, incidents, vehicle concerns, and student behavior issues in accordance with district procedures.







Qualifications
Valid Minnesota Driver's License.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, DOT physical, drug test, and alcohol screening.
