Job description

BHDM's Transport Van Driver

BHDM's Transport Van Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting guest/patients to and from designated locations as assigned. When the Technician is not transporting guest/patients, he/she will primarily serve as an Information Desk Attendant, greeting guests and patients entering the facility, providing guidance and information. BHDM's Transport Van Driver will provide positive customer experiences by always demonstrating C.A.R.E.S.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Successful completion of a whisper hearing test
  • Successful completion of assigned Van Drivers training prior to transporting patients, within 14 days of hire
  • Successful completion of assigned Q'STRAINT training prior to transporting patients, within 14 days of hire
  • Successful completion of all BHDM assigned training prior to transporting patients, within 14 days of hire
  • American Heart Association HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED required prior to transporting patients, within 14 days of hire
  • AVADE workplace violence prevention training Levels 1 and 2 required after hire, not to exceed 90 days, and maintained annually. Training provided in-house
  • Six (6) years of driving experience, preferred
  • Similar passenger transportation experience, preferred
