Driving strategic planning and budgeting to drive sustainable improvements in factory cost through application of continuous improvement, entitlement thinking, yield improvement, and plant productivity. Managing supply chain execution and inventory management to ensure appropriate customer value stream performance through responsiveness, delivery performance, LTA, capacity management, supplier management, and appropriate inventory management including working and non‐working inventory. Accelerating value creation for our customers through responsive end-to-end supply chain performance and prompt resolution to customer inquiries. Developing manufacturing strategies for a high-performance workforce, capital equipment planning, technology advancement, and employee and leadership development. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution. Four (4) years of supervisory and/or management experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Five (5) years of manufacturing/operations strategic guidance experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience managing and/or supervising direct reports. Demonstrated strong leadership ability and history of leading high-performance teams. Demonstrated understanding of principle-based leadership and behaviors. Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline. Experience in leading strategic and organizational development, operational excellence, lean implementation, financial accounting. Effective communication skills. Location Cumberland, WI Travel May include up to 10% domestic. Relocation Assistance Is authorized.
