Sportech's reasonable and good-faith estimate for new hire compensation at the time of posting for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Pay may also include variable compensation from time to time such as overtime for non-exempt positions, shift differential for specific shifts, and/or bonus targets (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).


Job Summary

This position fully supports product development activities within advanced product quality planning (APQP) projects and programs within their respective value stream. Ensures successful prototype samples, collection of pre-production data to achieve PPAP approval (supplier & customer). This position includes the ability to use metrology and statistical methods to analyze and solve problems including PFMEA's, and quality control plans.  


Essential Job Functions

  • Cross functional team member working with supply chain and suppliers to ensure Sportech quality standards are achieved and maintained including all supplier PPAP submissions
  • Promotes prevention tools and techniques through process discipline and first-time conformance
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, including GD&T dimensioning applying ASME 14.5Y requirements
  • CMM Knowledge, CMM use and ability to read and understand measurement reports.  (Verisurf a plus) 
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency  
  • Document data and effectively communicate lessons learned back into future projects and design reviews
  • Support Production during development builds  
  • Collect and maintain Inspection and job data  
  • Miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate degree strongly preferred

  • Excellent internal and external customer services skills 
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality tools, techniques and PPAP requirements 
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
