What is a Value Stream Associate?

A Value Stream Associate is a professional who supports and improves the flow of materials, information, and processes within a value stream—essentially the sequence of activities that deliver a product or service to a customer. They often work in manufacturing, logistics, or service industries and are responsible for identifying inefficiencies, assisting with process improvements, and ensuring that value is consistently delivered to the customer. Their role may involve data collection, team collaboration, and implementing Lean or continuous improvement principles.
