P/T Level 3 Armed Commissioned Officer

Looking for Professional LEVEL 3- Commissioned Officers (no Level 2 Non Commissioned)

Pay rate is $20-22 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position that ranges from 20-30 hours per week.

**This part-time position requires flexibility in regards to hours. This location has events during the week and weekend that last around 4-6 hours per event. Do not apply if you need a fixed schedule, as these hours are dependent upon the events scheduled for this location. Weekend work is required**

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:·· MUST be Professional· Must hold a current Level III license issued by TX DPS PSB (pocket guard card IN HAND) *Level 2 license holders will not be considered*· Must have a valid driver's license

· High School degree or equivalent· Reliable transportation and a working phone· Ability to safely handle/operate your firearm· Ability to handle physical workload· Strong attention to detail· Work independently and possess good work ethics· Able to pass a physical fitness assessment· Must be capable of passing a background check· 21 years of age· U.S. Citizen· No FELONY convictions within the last ten (10) years· No Class A MISDEMEANOR convictions within the last five (5) years· No Class B MISDEMEANOR convictions within the last two (2) years· No family violence convictions· Cannot currently be on deferred adjudication for any FELONY, Class A or Class B MISDEMEANOR

Must have OWN DUTY GEAR/ FIREARM (Service type weapons with service calibers i.e.- Glock; Sig Saur; H Smith & Wesson M 9mm; .40 cal; .45 ACP; etc.)

Must have, be able to obtain, and be able to:Level 3 retention holsterDuty BeltOD Green Tactical PantsTo walk, stand, or sit for long periods of timeWork ALL shifts, this includes potential WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYSClean-cut/ good physical healthPossess adequate speaking and writing skills

Other items that will be taken into consideration:* Prior or current Military/Law Enforcement experience* Exceptional display of duty weapon manipulation and accuracy* Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, which may result in exposure to inclement weather, and be able to walk, run, climb, crawl, sit or stand for extended periods of time and be able to perform all activities faced by emergency first responders* Must demonstrate the ability to apply critical thinking skills in rendering solutions to various issues that arise at your post; must be able to effectively communicate with school staff, students, families, and law enforcement professionals; extensive communication (verbal and written) is required; will be responsible for managing witnesses and others when handling or responding to incidents; requires the use of sound judgment* The ideal candidate must be able to work with everyone
