Automotive Customer Service Representative / Shuttle Driver

Job Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative/Shuttle Driver with Christian Brothers Automotive, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation to and from our shop for our customers. You will drive our branded vehicle and are expected to adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, checking customers in and out, and ensuring the shuttle is clean and comfortable. You are the person that our customers see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, and because of these reasons, you play a significant role in building relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Check customers in and out of the current service system
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Providing safe shuttle service for our valued guests in our branded vehicle
  • Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers Automotive
  • Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
  • Keep the facility clean and organized
  • Assist other team members as needed with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing paperwork
  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities as dictated by workload
  • Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
  • Notifies the service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
  • Keep the shuttle tidy and organized
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven successful customer service experience is required; driven to serve others
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and customers
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Meet required insurance driving record parameters
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a Team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)!
  • Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
