About the Position:
We are looking for a System Validation front Desk in charge of performing first level analysis of issues reported by the Customer, encountered during the development phase of the product. This is done by veryfiyng the product behaviour, checking Customer Requirements, characterizing the reported defect also interviewing the customer, and, if confirmed, routing to the proper development team.
(Front Desk engineer role may be combined with other validation related roles such as: defect manager, vehicle tester, product valiation leader on small scoper projects...)
Your Responsibilities will be:
  • Ensure, during development phase, first level Customer defects analysis on time according to priority associated to defects
  • Reject / Duplicate defects, when possible, in order to move in analysis only real defects
  • Ensure common understanding of defects between Customer, Product Validation team and Software and Hardware teams
  • Track Customer defects to closure. Agree with technical team, depending on ownership, the timing and priorities for defect resolution
  • Verify issues fix before customer delivery.
  • Design and execute automated Stress/Performance testing
  • Provide regular reports that illustrate the defect status associated to the Customer Defects.
  • Review and discuss with the Customer the defects status on a periodical basis with the project team support (PVL and technical referents)
  • Coordinate with TPL and SW PL to ensure defect validation is supporting issues resolution until closure
  • Support PVL and Project Manager for defects part
  • Support the CCB (Change Control Board) meeting for the defects part
  • Organize training sessions for product analist for Marelli and Customer plants in order to allow efficient claimed parts troubleshooting (and generate related training material).
  • Support to SW team in reproducing defect collecting logs and information needed for analysis.

What Qualifications you will bring:
  • Electronic Engineering Degree, Information Science Degree or equivalent background
  • English (reccomended): written and spoken independent use (B2 level)
  • At least 3 years-experience in System Tests activities. The above competences have to be maturated in automotive area or other large scale markets
  • Ability to work in multinational distributed teams
  • High capacity of analysis and synthesis for all the technical issues
