Summary:

To assist and provide service to customers and their experience at our service location.

Essential Duties:

Duties and Responsibilities of a Service Valet - (other duties and responsibilities may be assigned);

1. Clock in on time according to your schedule.

2. Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.

3. Controls service traffic flow and parking.

4. Drives customer's vehicle with caution.

5. Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.

6. Drives vehicles to and from service lane, wash bay, and parking lot as needed.

7. Makes key tags for vehicles.

8. Removes plastic and paper mats upon delivery.

9. Wears provided uniform and makes sure handset walkie is fully charged at all times.

10.Deliver customer vehicles upon service completion

11.Wash customer vehicles with automated car wash

12.Shuttle customers to and from dealership if needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • No prior experience or training.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
