St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for a friendly and outgoing Bell/Valet who will be responsible for providing an excellent first and last impression to all Hotel guests! Members of our Bell/Valet team are also responsible for parking/retrieving vehicles and assisting guests with luggage.



Essential Job Functions:

  • Verbally welcome, and open doors for, all guests entering/exiting the Hotel’s main entrance.
  • Greet guests at their personal vehicles upon arrival and explain relevant parking information.
  • Assist guests with transporting luggage between vehicles and their rooms; acquaint guests with rooms and their features upon check-in.
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Be able to knowledgeably answer guest inquiries about Hotel services and/or provide information regarding local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, recreational destinations, etc.
  • Deliver messages, faxes, packages, and other items to guest rooms as requested.
  • Report all cash tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the front drive, valet desk, and surrounding lobby area; assist with snow/ice removal of front drive during cold weather conditions.
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
  • Ideal candidates should be friendly and outgoing with excellent people skills. Previous Valet, hospitality, and/or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must have flexible availability. Interested candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings (11:00pm shift end).
