Job description

Liora Estate is looking for a Bell Attendant to become a part of the team for this boutique hotel of 16 rooms. From warmly welcoming guests to the estate, to delivering first-class hospitality, the Bell person plays an integral role at Liora. You will work with an incredible team of experienced managers and dedicated coworkers.

  • The starting pay for this position is $17.00 per hour + tips. This is the pay range for this position that Liora reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Essential Duties:
The job duties listed below are an overview of the essential duties and measures required to be successful in the position. Please note that the listed examples do not include all tasks, which may be expected within this job position.
  • Warmly welcome guests to Liora Estate
  • Embody and deliver warm and professional service
  • Assist guests in bringing luggage and belongings to and from their guest rooms
  • Provide guest with a "rundown" and tour of functions and features in their guest room
  • Assist Front Desk team as needed to provide guests with exceptional service quality
  • Deliver guest amenities to guest rooms and prepare refreshment packages as needed- maintain current and unexpired CA Food Handler Certificate
  • Provide a helping hand to the housekeeping team with weekly linen inventory, restocking, clearing
  • Help maintain public areas near reception and guest pathways so guests see a snapshot of perfection at all times
  • Respond promptly to any inquiries from guests or route the inquiries immediately to the correct party
  • Walking to the nearby local businesses to assist with guest related "errands" as needed.
  • Valet of guest cars, must maintain current and unexpired CA Driver's License and auto insurance
  • Open arriving packages and deliver to correct departments
  • Set up for daily, evening "wine hour" and events.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationship with guests to promote loyalty and repeat business

General Requirements:
Education: High School Degree or equivalent
Experience:
  • Experience in hospitality or related guest service environment

Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of electronic communication platforms (Outlook email, time keeping system, Microsoft Word etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, with composure
  • Teamwork attitude- Ability to work interdepartmentally, with Restaurant, Kitchen, and other team members
  • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and complies with Liora standards
  • Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs, weekend, evening & holiday availability is mandatory
  • Current and unexpired CA Driver's License and auto insurance
