Vālenz® Health is the platform to simplify healthcare – the destination for employers, payers, providers and members to reduce costs, improve quality, and elevate the healthcare experience. The Valenz mindset and culture of innovation combine to create a distinctly different approach to an inefficient, uninspired health system. With fully integrated solutions, Valenz engages early and often to execute across the entire patient journey – from care navigation and management to payment integrity, plan performance and provider verification. With a 99% client retention rate, we elevate expectations to a new level of efficiency, effectiveness and transparency where smarter, better, faster healthcare is possible.
About This Opportunity: As a Bill Review Operations Coordinator, you will coordinate operational communications, client support, reporting, and issue resolution to help ensure efficient Bill Review operations. In this role, you will monitor operational performance, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support workflow optimization. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service, support operational initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
Things You’ll Do Here:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Bill Review operational communications.
  • Manage and respond to client inquiries related to Bill Review operations, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Coordinate communication and issue resolution between clients and internal operational teams.
  • Prepare and distribute client updates, operational communications, and meeting materials.
  • Monitor, prioritize, assign, and track operational support tickets through completion.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resolution of operational issues with Bill Review, Clinical Review, Intake, Technology, Product, and Client Services teams.
  • Provide timely status updates to stakeholders and escalate high-priority issues as appropriate.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc operational, production, and client-specific reports.
  • Validate report accuracy prior to distribution and ensure timely delivery to internal leaders and clients.
  • Track key operational metrics, identify trends, and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Bill Review workflows, systems, and operational processes.
  • Document operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Assist leadership with process mapping, workflow optimization, and implementation of operational improvements.
  • Monitor recurring operational issues and recommend sustainable solutions to improve performance.
  • Support operational readiness and implementation activities for new clients.
  • Assist with testing and validation of system enhancements affecting Bill Review operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with Bill Review, Clinical Review, Intake, Technology, Product, Client Services, and other cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, payment integrity, medical bill review, claims administration, client services, or a related operational environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A plus if you have…
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Experience supporting medical bill review, healthcare claims processing, payment integrity, or revenue cycle operations.
  • Experience using ticketing or work management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of workflow documentation, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional operational initiatives or client implementations.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Where You’ll Work: This is a fully remote position, and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment!

  • Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
  • Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
  • Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
  • Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
