Job description

Job Overview 

   Reports to: Department Supervisor 

    Location: Lynwood, CA 

    Type: Full-Time

     Schedule: 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

Responsible for shielding the surfaces of parts that do not require processing

  • Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications and drawings
  • Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
  • Ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.)
  • Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications
  • Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Perform other duties as required

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

  • Vision (Near, Distance)
  • Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversations
  • Sense of Touch
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses
  • Standing for long periods of time
