Liberton Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility in work hours while maintaining a structured approach to client care. Our team utilizes cutting-edge technology, including Electronic Health Record systems such as Valant, to facilitate effective communication and documentation. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to diagnose issues and develop tailored treatment plans, ensuring that each plan aligns with the client's unique needs.
• Maintain an active caseload with a minimum of 27 client sessions per week, utilizing a combination of in-person and telehealth modalities.
• Create and manage detailed clinical documentation, including session notes, assessments, and treatment reviews, while adhering to the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and related personnel to coordinate comprehensive care for our clients.
• Engage in ongoing training and clinical meetings to refine skills and contribute to a thriving team dynamic.
• Utilize innovative and creative therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques as necessary to help clients achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families from various backgrounds. Therapists are encouraged to engage authentically with clients and to use humor and compassion to build a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Current LMFT clinical license for the state of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated experience with clinical documentation and familiarity with assessment and treatment planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and foster therapeutic relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record systems; familiarity with Valant is a plus.
• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
• Comfort in working with a diverse range of clients, including those from BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.
• Must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

• Experience in a community health setting, addressing mental health issues among diverse populations.
• Additional training in trauma-informed care or specialized therapeutic modalities is highly valued.
• Previous experience with telehealth services and familiarity with remote therapy best practices.

The compensation package for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
