As a Drain Cleaning Technician, you'll be at the heart of our mission: delivering top-tier service while working in a supportive, team-driven environment. Although we are a 24-hour emergency service company, our standard operating hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am through 4:30 pm (or when the last scheduled jobs of the day are completed). Each team member is required to cover his or her scheduled rotation of "On- Call" providing emergency service response while earning overtime pay. About the Role:
As a Drain Cleaning Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving drain-related issues at residential, commercial, and municipal job sites. You'll work hands-on with a variety of mechanical snakes, power tools, video inspection equipment, and line- locating devices. No two days will be the same as you tackle both scheduled and emergency projects, often working outdoors in different environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and resolve sewer and drain issues efficiently
• Operating hydro sewer jet, pump truck & vactor truck
• Assist excavation and repair crews as needed
• Operate mechanical snakes, power and hand tools at customer locations
• Utilize video inspection and electronic line-locating equipment
• Maintain accurate project data via company-provided tablet
• Clean and maintain trucks, tools, and equipment
What We're Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
o 21+ years old
o Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
o Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
o Reliable transportation to our Eastlake office
o Ability to lift 100-150 lbs throughout the day
o Professional appearance and positive attitude
o Past employment performing drain line cleaning
o Experience with mechanical drain line snakes
