The Wilderness Resort is seeking hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service driven individuals to join our fast paced team! Employees have access to great benefits, amenity usage, and so much more!

The Sanitation Technician position is responsible for maintaining the sanitary condition of physical structures of the buildings and grounds.

*Must have a Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (or ability to obtain one) and an acceptable driving record. 
 

This is a part- or full-time position with day, night and weekend availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Remove all bagged trash, cardboard and other waste products of daily hotel operation, Wyndham vacation owners, GCL, Conference Center, Condos and Cabins.
  • Ground maintenance activities such as removing trash from entrances, water parks, picking up trash from grounds, hotel or common areas.
  • Monitor and remove all recycling from GCL recycling containers, re-bag and remove to proper receptacles for recycling by Waste Management.
  • Visually inspect sanitation maintenance vehicle, maintain vehicle, physically and mechanically, request repairs as needed.
  • Assist Maintenance Department as need and directed, after all sanitation duties and responsibilities are completed.  Exceptions may be made by manager approval only.
  • Monitor location, repair, and return all hotel luggage carts to proper entrances, make sure no fire doors are blocked.
  • Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment. 
  • Report all compactor issues to Building Systems Director or Assistant to the Building Systems Director. (Full, Not working, etc.)
