The salary range for this position is $58,000.00 to $62,000.00 a year. ***No Relocation Available

Responsibilities
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager provides first-class service, maintains the rental program and Villa Care units in excellent condition, fosters a positive team attitude among employees, and ensures safety and security by supervising the housekeeping department. The Housekeeping Assistant Manager also coordinates with owners, the front desk, and other related departments.
  • Consistently lead by example and exhibit experienced leadership necessary to motivate and guide the Housekeeping Team, and when necessary, hold accountable - to ensure guest/team member/owner needs and expectations are met.
  • Oversee and effectively manage housekeeping and work in collaboration with various departments.
  • Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control the CTRC Rental Program following CTRC policies and procedures.
  • Develop maximum profits through cost and labor control.
  • Ensure consistent quality, exceeding owner and guest expectations.
  • Monitor and achieve guest and owner satisfaction scores.
  • Problem solves and challenges issues that are at the forefront, while embracing opportunities to improve the operation.
  • Daily inspection of property/units and work areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met.
  • Assist with reporting all defects and housekeeping issues, work orders, preventive services, and cleaning services, etc. via the property management system. Ensure that these items are reported in a timely and effective manner in the property management system.
  • Responsible for storage, inventory and distribution of cleaning, linen supplies, and guest resale items.
  • Reporting team member accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain positive homeowner relationships while also representing the value of the CTRC rental program.

Qualifications
  • Requires a High School diploma or general education development (GED) diploma.
  • Requires one to two years of previous supervisory or management experience with a commitment to guest service and satisfaction; experience in a four or five-diamond property is preferred.
  • Requires excellent time and project management skills, as well as proven presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership and management skills.
  • Requires strong written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with homeowners, guests, and team members; and basic grammatical knowledge to write effective business letters and inter-office memos.
  • Demonstrates functional skills involving the usage of the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new software and related applications.
  • Demonstrates functional knowledge of basic mathematics and analytical skills, and experience involved with producing and maintaining budgets.
  • Demonstrates functional knowledge of basic business procedures.
