Behavior Technician (BT) - Suffolk, VA

Perfect Pair ABA is seeking a motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team in Suffolk, VA. As a BT, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one ABA therapy services to clients across home environments. We're looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Behavior Technician (BT) Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate personalized, one-on-one ABA therapy services for clients across home environments, utilizing individualized protocols developed by a BCBA

  • Collect data throughout the session and document all sessions with progress notes

  • Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and caregivers to foster a culture of learning

  • Create an engaging therapeutic environment to encourage growth and skill acquisition

Behavior Technician (BT) Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, pursuing or holding a Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field preferred

  • Willingness to obtain an active Adult and Child CPR/First Aid certification within the first 30 days of employment

  • Ability and willingness to support the basic needs of clients

  • Reliable vehicle and valid driverโ€™s license

  • Interest in becoming RBT certified
