We provide mortgage origination services to the clients of these well-known brands, providing our Loan Officers with greater alignment, stronger referral flow, and access to premium real estate channels.


What’s the Role? We are currently seeking a hard-working, dedicated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our innovative and passionate team. Internally, this role operates at an elevated level, and you are expected and incentivized to operate like a business owner.


Industry expertise, paired with effective delegation and auditing of files from origination through closing, will allow you to focus primarily on building relationships and growing your business. A 5-star customer experience and a successful proactive pipeline flow begin with you.


Core Responsibilities:

  1. Origination Consultation: Originate first or second purchase mortgages and refinance loans. Provide pre-qualifications, take full loan applications, and present the best financial products for each customer’s unique situation.
  2. Pipeline Management: Review active loan files and pipeline reports daily. Delegate and audit file responsibilities to ensure smooth processing, utilizing our POD Flow Checklist.
  3. Problem Solving: Actively resolve loan-level issues, restructure files as needed, and continuously monitor team turn times to minimize lock expirations and delays.
  4. Relationship Building: Aggressively promote Guaranteed Rate Affinity to real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and other referral sources to develop strong, long-term partnerships.
  5. Compliance Expectations: Conduct all operations in accordance with the CFPB, GRA policies, and local/federal regulations. Set proper expectations and provide timely status updates to borrowers and referral partners.


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Licensing: Current state licensing and registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer loan industry with a strong track record of telephone sales and closing.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Expert knowledge of CFPB disclosure requirements, secondary market pricing scenarios, investor guidelines, and Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA programs.
  4. Skills: Highly organized, self-motivated, and tech-savvy. Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment using modern lending software.


Compensation Benefits: This is a high-upside sales role. The Loan Officer is expected to sell the Company’s products and services by meeting with customers and referral partners, developing relationships, and performing work away from the office.

  1. Pay: $60,000 - 200,000+ per year, commission-based
  2. Structure: 100% commission-based, directly tied to individual sales performance. Eligible candidates may also qualify for a discretionary sign-on bonus.
