Security Screener – Arlington National Cemetery

Trust Consulting Services, (TCS) is looking for full time workers to perform screening services within military grounds in Arlington, VA. Immediate openings available. All applicants are expected to be able to pass a drug and background check. New hires will receive on-the-job training.

Day to day you'll…

  • Personnel verification.
  • Baggage checks.
  • Conduct identification checks on all visitors, employees, and guests.
  • Using machinery such as x-ray machines, walk-through magnetometers, hand-held magnetometers.
  • Maintain orderly queue of visitors checking in.

What you'll bring to the team...

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • Must have at least TWO YEARS of work experience in visitor screening operations.
  • Must have experience processing large groups of visitors

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Demonstrate screener aptitude.
  • Be proficient in the English language (e.g. read, write, speak).
  • Able to write incident reports and statements.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Capable physical abilities and motor skills (color perception)- Screening equipment utilization.
  • Hear and respond to audible alarms.
  • Able to perform physical searches (baggage, containers, other objects).
  • Able to use handheld metal detector searches of individuals.
  • Daily demonstration of fit for duty without impairment.
  • Able to pass a drug and background check.
  • MUST HAVE OR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN, AT A MINIMUM, A PUBLIC TRUST BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND/OR SECRET/TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Pay Rate

$19.38/hour
