The UX/UI Designer interfaces with product managers, business leaders, and internal clients to deliver an engaging user experience and products. Innovation, design, and functionality are key components to the success of this role.
WGU is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile applications. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into user-centered designs that improve usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction. You will help shape design standards, create reusable design assets, and contribute to products used across multiple lines of business.
What You'll Do
  • Create visually impressive UX and UI designs for desktop, responsive web, and mobile applications.
  • Drive and apply user-centered design processes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Research and understand user needs to create intuitive and effective experiences.
  • Rapidly develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts that align with business goals.
  • Build reusable design patterns and finished screens that can be leveraged across multiple products and business areas.
  • Lead or participate in brainstorming sessions and stakeholder discussions to gather and refine requirements.
  • Partner with developers to ensure the technical feasibility, performance, and quality of design solutions.
What You'll Bring
  • In-depth understanding of UX and UI design principles.

Work Location
