Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to facilitate application solutions by developing and reviewing module-level codes, creating replication patterns, performing root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable, well-documented deliverables that meet business objectives.

About the Role
We are seeking a UI/UX Front-End Engineer who combines strong user experience design capabilities with hands-on front-end development expertise. Success in this role requires strong UI/UX design ownership supported by hands-on front-end engineering capability. The engineer will work closely with UX designers, product owners, and engineering teams to translate design concepts into interactive prototypes and implementation-ready experiences, bridge communication gaps, and make practical design updates when needed. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, an eye for visual and interaction design, experience using AI-assisted workflows for rapid prototyping, and the ability to deliver responsive experiences across desktop and mobile web views in a fast-paced product environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the translation of user needs, product ideas, and design concepts into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and working prototypes.
  • Partner closely with UX designers and engineering teams to bridge design-to-development gaps and ensure designs can be implemented quickly and accurately.
  • Create and refine dashboard experiences, visualizations, workflows, navigation patterns, and responsive interaction models.
  • Build interactive prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate user flows, design assumptions, technical feasibility, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Make minor design updates and implementation-oriented refinements when required while maintaining design intent and consistency.
  • Apply strong visual-design judgment across information hierarchy, layout, typography, color, spacing, accessibility, and interaction behavior.
  • Develop production-ready front-end components using React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Create and maintain reusable components, design-system patterns, UI specifications, and developer handoff documentation.
  • Optimize designs and front-end experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile web views using responsive and mobile-first practices.
  • Use Generative AI and AI-assisted tools to accelerate design exploration, workflow adoption, prototyping, code generation, and iterative validation.
  • Present portfolio work, prototypes, design rationale, trade-offs, and implementation considerations to product, design, engineering, and customer stakeholders.
  • Facilitate design reviews, clarify requirements, resolve UX and engineering constraints, and drive decisions across cross-functional teams.
  • Work effectively in fast-paced, high-velocity product environments with evolving priorities, rapid feedback cycles, and iterative releases.
  • Support usability validation, accessibility reviews, cross-browser testing, performance optimization, code reviews, and release readiness.

Required Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of experience in UX design, UI engineering, UX engineering, product design, or front-end development roles with substantial design ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience in a role weighted toward UI/UX design while retaining hands-on front-end implementation capability.
  • Should have design portfolio and should be able to demonstrate design concepts. A strong portfolio showing the end-to-end design process, including problem framing, user flows, prototypes, design decisions, iterations, and delivered outcomes.
  • Candidate must have hands on experience on one of the design tools i.e., Figma, Adobe XD, Canva.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, usability, accessibility, and visual-design principles.
  • Hands-on experience converting design concepts into interactive prototypes and implementation-ready front-end solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience designing and optimizing responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile web views.
  • Hands-on experience using Generative AI or AI-assisted tools to improve design workflows, accelerate prototyping, and support front-end development.
  • Experience collaborating with product owners, UX designers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ability to communicate design rationale, technical considerations, trade-offs, constraints, and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile, fast-paced, and high-velocity product teams with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of REST API integration, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, performance optimization, and source-control practices.
  • Exposure to mobile application development using React Native, Flutter, Ionic, or a comparable framework is an advantage.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
