Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 5PM-1AM
Pay: $17-$18/hour
Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator 1 to join our client’s manufacturing team in Atlanta, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to build your skills in a fast-paced environment with a global leader in advanced manufacturing solutions.

Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Machine Operator 1 is responsible for operating automated manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality assemblies. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who is committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to follow machine set-up sheets and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Ensure correct parts are loaded into board loaders and feeders; prepare feeders in advance for upcoming production runs.
  • Maintain and load solder screen printers; operate LSM machines to verify solder paste application; record data in the CIQ system.
  • Keep the work area organized by tubing fallout parts and performing routine cleaning of workspace and equipment.
  • Monitor and sort machine rejects daily to maintain part quality and production efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and may perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow verbal and visual communications and set-up sheets to ensure compliance with work direction.
  • Adhere strictly to safety and health regulations and company security policies.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Six months to one year of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
